Nikita Black is a working model who travels across the United States. She came to Pottinger Studios for portraits to update her portfolio, and we photographed them in a bright room in Orlando.
A portfolio update is about range in a short time. I asked for a steady gaze, then a big smile, and the frames in between, while she adjusted a flower, are the ones that look like a person rather than a pose.
